The Discovery Museums

Thank you! We at The Discovery Museums greatly appreciate the opportunity to give back to our community. We make these gifts to support non-profit organizations whose activities enrich the greater community in which we all live.

Given the large number of requests we receive each year for donations, in order to assist as many organizations as possible our gifts are slightly limited based on the following preferred criteria:

Criteria:
1. Organization should be a registered tax exempt 501(c) (3)
2. Organization should be located within 40 miles of The Discovery Museums
3. Our standard donation is one (1) set of four (4) complimentary admission passes
4. Please limit your organization's requests to one per twelve-month period

All donation requests will be reviewed within three weeks. The requester will be contacted by email, regardless of whether or not the request is approved.

About Us

The Discovery Museums in Acton, MA, just west of Boston, are two unique but intertwined age-appropriate museums located on a 4.5 acre campus. The Science Discovery Museum and the Children's Discovery Museum promote a love of science through hands-on, minds-at-play exhibits. We invite you to come out and explore this unique campus.

The Discovery Museums is an award-winning educational non-profit organization with an international reputation for high quality children's discovery and science programs. We seek to inspire enduring curiosity and love of learning through interactive discovery, hands-on inquiry and scientific investigations. Younger children learn while they play at the Children's Discovery Museum. Children of all ages explore scientific concepts and hands-on creativity at the Science Discovery Museum. The Museums have extensive school programs that include museum field trips, group visits, and our Traveling Science Workshops, which bring hands-on science into the classroom. The Discovery Museums serve more 140,000 visitors annually through our two age-focused museums and educational programs.
